Extreme is an American rock band that formed in 1985. Known for their blend of hard rock and funk, they gained mainstream success in the early 1990s with their hit singles "More Than Words" and "Hole Hearted." The band's original lineup consisted of Gary Cherone on vocals, Nuno Bettencourt on guitar, Pat Badger on bass, and Paul Geary on drums. Extreme has released several albums throughout their career and continues to tour and perform.
