DWAM

DWAM (99.1 FM), broadcasting as 99.1 Spirit FM, is a music radio station in Batangas City, and serving the entire province of Batangas. Owned and operated by the Radyo Bayanihan System, the media arm of the Archdiocese of Lipa, it is a sister to religious news and talk radio station, DWAL-FM (95.9 FM; ALFM Radyo Totoo). Both stations share studio facilities at the 2nd floor, St. Francis de Sales Broadcast Center, 7 C. Tirona street, Batangas City; and transmitter facilities at Brgy. Sto. Domingo, Batangas City, Philippines. DWAM operates daily from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM, except during the Misa de Gallo/Simbang Gabi days (December 16-24; operating from 3:30 AM to 11:00 PM), the New Year's Eve observance (December 31; operating from 4:30 AM until 12:15 AM on the following day is New Year's Day, January 1), and annually during the Easter Triduum when it simulcasts DWAL-FM's special program lineup. DWAM's signal strength reaches Cavite, Laguna and Quezon via unclear signal, while it also poses weak signal interference with DWGV-FM (GVFM 99.1; an FM radio station in Pampanga operating at the same frequency). Since March 19, 2018, the station has also been available across the country via satellite through its select program grids being simulcast on CMN Radio, replacing the latter's in-house music automation.
