El-P, whose real name is Jaime Meline, is a hip-hop artist and producer. He is best known as one-half of the rap duo Run The Jewels, alongside rapper Killer Mike. Prior to forming Run The Jewels, El-P was a member of the influential underground rap group Company Flow. He is known for his intricate and politically charged lyrics, as well as his innovative production style that incorporates elements of electronic music.
