Ed Hale is a recording artist, singer-songwriter, author, populist blogger, activist, and YouTube star currently best known for his hit singles, "Prince of New York", "Summer Flowers", "New Orleans Dreams" and "Scene In San Francisco", which landed in the Top 40 Charts in the Adult Contemporary radio format. Hale was formerly known as Eddie Darling in the 90's during the release of his first solo album Eddie. He then formed the popular American Britpop/alt-rock group Ed Hale and The Transcendence, who had a string of hits such as "Superhero Girl", "Vicodin", "Better luck next time", Man Child Woman" and "Baby Bop". He also performs, records and releases solo albums under the name Ed Hale. He is currently signed to the Dying Van Gogh Records imprint of BMG Records. Hale is often referred to as "The Ambassador" due to his love of travel, exploring other cultures, and his penchant for singing and speaking in multiple languages.
