Negative XP, formerly known as School Shooter, is an Atlanta-based music artist who gained popularity with the song Scott Pilgrim vs The World Ruined an Entire Generation of Women. He is credited with pioneering the incelcore microgenre, a lo-fi music style based on the incel and punk movements. On September 11, 2021, he headlined the Virginfest festival in Atlanta, which received backlash from local organizations and wider media. The exaggerated use of hate speech in his songs has been alternatively described as far-right metapolitics, as a form of irony, or as related to the punk movement.
