Spinetta y los Socios del Desierto was an Argentine rock band formed by the legendary musician Luis Alberto Spinetta. The band was active from 1993 to 1997 and consisted of Spinetta on vocals and guitar, Marcelo Torres on bass, Daniel Wirtz on keyboards, and Sergio Verdinelli on drums. They released a highly regarded self-titled album in 1997, combining elements of rock, folk, and psychedelic music. The band's sound was characterized by Spinetta's poetic lyrics and intricate guitar work.
