The Mountain Brothers were a Chinese-American hip-hop trio from Philadelphia, consisting of CHOPS, Peril-L, and Styles. They gained recognition in the late 1990s for blending their Asian heritage with hip-hop to deliver socially conscious lyrics. The group released their debut album "Self: Volume 1" in 1999, which was followed by "Triple Crown" in 2003. They are considered pioneers in Asian-American representation in the hip-hop industry.
