The Boys Next Door were an Australian rock band formed in 1973. Initially, their music was heavily influenced by punk and new wave, but their sound evolved over time. The band featured influential musicians such as Nick Cave and Mick Harvey. They released a few albums and singles before changing their name to The Birthday Party in 1980.
