Weapon is a Canadian extreme metal band, within the subgenre of blackened death metal, formed by frontman Vetis Monarch in early 2003. Weapon signed with Relapse Records in 2011 in anticipation of a full-length debut in 2012, supported by a North American tour with Marduk starting in May 2012.
