I came to L.A. to be rock and roll
Along the way I had to sell my soul
I made some good friends that make me say
I really wannabe in L.A.

I took the time to get to Beverly
Laid some rocket tape roll on the 180
Allen and Natasha always make me say
I really wannabe in L.A.

( I really wannabe in L.A wahahoo)
( I really wannabe in L.A wahahoo)
( I really wannabe in L.A wahahoo)

I take the city in the dead of night
I'm burning gas until I feel all right
The sunset honeys always make me say
I really wannabe in L.A.

I came to L.A. to be rock and roll
Along the way I had to sell my soul
I made some good friends that make me say
I really wannabe in L.A.

Eagles of Death Metal

Eagles of Death Metal is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California, formed in 1998 by Jesse Hughes and Josh Homme, who are the only permanent members of the band, though Homme rarely plays live shows because of commitments to other bands. When he played a song by the Polish band Vader and made a claim that the song was within the death metal genre, Homme then referred to Vader as "The Eagles of Death Metal".
