The song was originally released on the band's 2008 release Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood and was later released as a bonus track on certain editions of Beyond Hell/Above Heaven. "Still Counting" was released as a single in 2012, four years after its initial release on the Guitar Gangsters album. Volbeat is a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen. They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal, punk and rockabilly. They are inspired by classic rock and roll artists such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, as well as more contemporary hard rock, heavy metal and punk rock bands, such as Social Distortion, The Misfits and Metallica.
