Charlie Musselwhite

Charlie Musselwhite (born January 31, 1944) is an American electric blues harmonica player and bandleader, one of the non-black bluesmen who came to prominence in the early 1960s, along with Mike Bloomfield and Paul Butterfield. Been workin' in nightclubs so long
Can hardly stand the break of day
Been workin' in nightclubs so long
Can hardly stand the break of day

Run down rooms and bad pianos
But it's still the only way

Gon' be here through Sunday evening
Be someplace else on Tuesday night
I'm gon' be here through Sunday evening
Be someplace else on Tuesday night

If I get home with all my money
Everything will be alright

Well, if I had a million dollars
I'd sit right down and relax
If I had just one million dollars
I'd sit right down and relax

I'd go and buy myself a nightclub
And write it off my income tax
