Look down, look down that lonesome road
Before you travel on
Look up, look up and meet your maker
Before Abraham blows his horn

I get weary totin' a load
Traveling down this lonesome road
Look down, look down that lonesome road
Before you travel on

I get weary totin' such a load
Traveling down this lonesome road
