Hoover was a post-hardcore/indie rock band formed in 1992 in Washington, D.C. The band is known for their intense and atmospheric music, characterized by intricate guitar work, rhythmic complexity, and emotive lyrics. They released two studio albums, "The Lurid Traversal of Route 7" in 1994 and "Electrolux" in 1997, before disbanding in 1994.
