Bonnie Tyler

About Tears

"Save Up All Your Tears" is a song written by Desmond Child and Diane Warren, and originally released by Welsh singer Bonnie Tyler. The song was subsequently covered by other artists including Robin Beck, Cher, and Freda Payne. The original Bonnie Tyler version of the song was featured on the album called Notes From America in the United States, Brazil and entitled Hide Your Heart throughout the rest of the world. The song was produced by its co-writer, Desmond Child, who was enjoying chart success in the US with singles by Bon Jovi including "Livin' on a Prayer". The single, released in 1988, did not approach the success of previous releases like "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and "Holding Out for a Hero", and charted only on airplay charts in Europe. The London Mix mixed by Desmond Child.

Such a long time ago
Now I know
You've woke up to find
You were wrong

There ain't no doubt
Put me out
Nearly made me blind
You sent me a letter, brought tears to my eyes

Tell me you've changed, after all this time
Like a stone rolling down the mountainside
It's over, you can't turn the tide, and it's

[Chorus]
Tears falling about love, falling without love
Tears falling about love, falling without love

I was glad
To be with you
Near to you
My heart can't deny

I was sad
To leave your side
Stripped of pride
When you said goodbye

For every new road there must be a friend
For every broken heart there must be a mend
And the rain only lasted so long
It's over, the thing we had is gone, and it's

[Chorus]

To tell me you've changed brought tears to my eyes
Say you've rearranged after all this time
Like a stone rolling down the mountainside
It's over, you can't turn the tide, and it's

[Chorus]

Bonnie Tyler

Bonnie Tyler (born Gaynor Hopkins on 8 June 1951) is a Welsh singer. Her first hit single, "Lost In France", reached the UK Top 10 in 1976 and she was nominated for Best British Female Newcomer at the 1977 Brit Awards. Soon after, Tyler underwent an operation to remove nodules from her vocal cords which left her with a distinctively husky voice. However, this did not affect her career and her 1977 single "It's a Heartache" became a hit in both Europe and North America. more »
