I have a lot to say, but I don't know how to put it in words I guess I could start with I was walking to class with my friends Making jokes about each other being condescending Feeling tired and a little overspent But I gotta keep working till I find my end Find my passion find my purpose on this planet called earth I find myself questioning the depth to my worth Maybe in a parallel universe I end up being famous From the music that I make yeah I know it's pretty basic but I really love it and the progress that I'm making Although nobody has faith in the work I'm baking Maybe I'm not just not as good as I thought or Maybe there's just something that I'm doing wrong but I'm letting time go by Hoping something will pick up while I sit and comply With the standards that were set by society Filling us with fear and anxiety But we can only follow this model of propriety We don't have a say what's right and wrong Not until we're older and a little strong Oppression is a big problem for us teens Credibility is hard to verify or so it seems Even if we aren't all a prodigy We can change ourselves and our ideology That's the beauty of humanity We can make a difference bring life to our fantasies But the biggest problem with us is our vanity Our selfishness causes us to lose sanity We always need to have a power over us Because too much power makes a man corrupt Self-gratification makes us feel lust What is the source to our feeling wonderstruck? And why do we feel the need to trust someone? Why do we fall in love with someone?
