Everybody’s got dreams Everybody’s got dreams And I don't want to wake up, don't want to wake up Finish where I start, and pick it back up where I left off Take a break and write again where I left off I put down music, making things right where I left off Couple jobs, more bills, ugh saving where I left off Cuss everybody’s got dreams, losing sleep to make em lucid New seasons, new themes to the music Trying to be like Christ in the vine or I’m useless In the booth or the office am I better suited... I do em both Speak what He wrote, Yo I talk in quotes… ugh Hanging to His promises, my only hope… ugh Carrying this cross on my neck Reminds me that there’s one on my back, got scars but I hug it close With my soul it is well, living water in my heart Poured by the life-giving spirit… I am well I know Jesus Christ, I’m never going to hell He didn’t wine but took the wrath of God, I am well Gotta proclaim, good thoughts in my brain So I pray He keep em captive, active reading, and never passive Refreshes my soul, an exciter and relaxant Bold in my witness, fulfilling what is lacking Are these selfish ambitions or humble petitions I pray it’s the latter not trying to play snakes and ladders The Lord goes before me, my thoughts they come after Needless to say, are they mine, or fragments of his dreams Everybody’s got dreams Everybody’s got dreams And I don’t want to wake up Don't want to wake up Everybody’s got dreams And I don’t want to wake up Don't want to wake up Everybody’s got dreams, I work four jobs so I can chase mine Two years to get here, but it takes time Prodigal son, rap was used to bring me home Crown of thorns, rose to life, and now I speak Rosetta stone Strung to Geppetto I’ll never be alone Jesus paid it all, sin cannot give me a loan Have a hope that is bigger than the pain Getting a crown that’ll make the rain(reign) worth it, Every day I wake up, asking God for what’s next Study your word just to pass the next test 2019, a year with some stress But through it all, yup, I am blessed Living life like I know God And I know it’s only death, if we act like there’s no God, ugh Till then I’m on Love’s first quest And I’ll sleep, when I‘m laid to rest, well done won’t be a dream… Everybody’s got dreams Everybody’s got dreams And I don’t want to wake up Don't want to wake up Everybody’s got dreams And I don’t want to wake up Don't want to wake up Everybody’s got dreams
