Somethings Change

Looking at my life from the other side So many times God save me when I could of died So many times I told the truth when I could of lied So many nights I felt like crying but kept my head high So many people did me wrong cuz they said I changed But I just saw the bigger picture and what was to gain And I remember being up and then me falling down My friends disappeared by family always stayed around When I was going through the struggle battling drugs and demons Hearing voices in my head thinking somebody screaming Tryna wake myself up cuz I thought I was dreaming Seeing things that wasn't there tryna find a meaning With so much coke up in my blood I almost stopped breathing Til I went and got help was working on myself but couldn't stop feening Til the day I caught that charge and I went to jail I got to see that sober me I used to know well The one who was about his money but now I dont sell But you can tell by my aura that I done seen money And I done been through a lot and even lost money Reminiscing on them times when I used to talk funny But somethings change and somethings dont Some people change but I know I wont I been fighting so long to get this weight off my shoulder Cuz somethings change Cuz somethings change and somethings dont Some people change but I know I wont I been fighting so long to get this weight off my shoulder Cuz somethings change Cuz somethings change and somethings dont Some people change but I know I wont I been fighting so long to get this weight of my shoulder Cuz somethings change Lately I been going through somethings I notice how people change Years ago I did somethings for you now you dont know my name Ever since I caught that case people dont look at me the same They think I lost my mind but how when I still got my brain I remember days I was hearing voices and seeing things You dont know the half yet talk about me but cant feel my pain Ever been so low til where the ground dont even feel the same Ever seen lights up in the woods thought it was aliens Vampires zombies but to you it wasn't making sense Having premonitions and visions of when the dead walk Everything I saw is coming true but now im scared to talk Id tell you what the future gone be like but you'd be scared of dark Cuz somethings change and somethings dont Some people change but I know I wont And I been fighting so long to get this weight off my shoulder Cuz somethings change Cuz somethings change and somethings dont Some people change but I know I wont I been fighting so long to get this weight off my shoulder Cuz somethings change Cuz somethings change and somethings dont Some people change but I know I wont I been fighting so long to get this weight off my shoulder Cuz somethings change Have you ever spent a night inside a rehab center Have you ever been to jail and had to eat cold dinners Have you ever felt like you was missing parts of life So you started selling white thinking it could change your life Then you noticed karma came around and almost took your life But you picked the Bible up could barely talk but you could write Writing music was a blessing cuz it brought me back to life Theres so much I want to say but they might kill me if I might Have you ever went to sleep and had nightmares everynight You noticed what you premonized became a part of life Theres not much that I can say but its too much for me to write And I prayed for the world im that boy who saved life Cuz somethings change and somethings dont Some people change but I know I wont I been fighting so long to get this weight off my shoulder Cuz somethings change
