The Nature
It was a warm and sunny day – and the wind was playing chess
Was a really, really good time - for riding slowly in the wilderness
And a very fine way - for starting out a new day
For exercising bones - and enjoying scones
To it’s full extension – hardly any new invention
Watching all the birds fly low - and countless stupid sheep
Cattails blowing gently in the wind - ducks in formation flying high and steep
Peeping over the embankment - all along the coastal line
Hear the gravel crunching underneath - my ever turning, spinning wheels
With no persisting fear – at least that I could hear
Out there in the Nature is the place to be
If you’re searching for a reason to be free
The Nature is fine and fair
If you’ve lost your way, you may find it there
God’s Nature is the place where you should stay
If you’re looking for a maze where you can play
It’s a long and weary road - too rough for lonely boys
Endless rows of cattle grids – along the path selected entirely by your own device
Narrow in its own way - but wide in any other way
Left to nature all by course - near the river of great force
It’s not the end of anybody’s exclamation – and common fearful dreadful desolation
Shallow waters in between – the land, the sea the moon
Cattle grass in pastures green - all day long into the afternoon
Not wondering when and why- some ignorant untie
The basis of their lives – as if they really care
For they think not of tomorrow – that they should all be dammed and sorrow
Out there in the Nature is the place to be
If you’re searching for a reason to be free
The Nature is fine and fair
If you’ve lost your way, you may find it there
God’s Nature is the place where you should stay
If you’re looking for a maze where you can play

Strange things happen all around – Cathedral on the move
Bishop thought he may be gay – gone through the gate to hell but hard to prove
Drinking out of old cups - the most delightful crops
Down by the brook - you might see the crook (hook)
Tiny waterfalls for fish to chill – the water wheel is turning, still
Go see a place of interest – and all the things beyond
Take a nap down in the park - beside the old and quiet village pond
Ancient town and history gone - and yet ghosts walk
Must pass the test of visibility - Slush to heaven opens up
Regaining the old and much missed vigour of youth
Out there in the Nature is the place to be
If you’re searching for the reason to be free
The Nature is fine and fair
If you’ve lost your way, you may find it there
God’s Nature is the place where you should stay
If you’re looking for a maze where you can play
Then suddenly you’ve reached the end – of a long and busy day
Has been a pleasure of delight – hope for resurrection is surely on the way
By contrast of the things – we praise and dance around
The gathered loots well in boot – worthless by ways and means
And serves no purpose but for greed – not even for survival of the fittest
Before at last the time has come – to make a change of course
Turn around the iron horse - the wind in tail just like a helping force
Providing necessary power – that’s needed for the final heave
As far as one can tell – it’s just like a falling leave
And soon we all shall aim - for the awaiting nest to claim.
Out there in the Nature is the place to be
