Divide in Time

What's happening now is just like the past LA, where the only people were authorities that laughed It's just like that, where they all go hard It just seems like we're all inside of one big flask But can you believe that it happened so fast I was peacefully sitting down, then the news just went blast Now it's all mad, but we can't go back All these businesses getting destroyed, there goes their craft When times get rough, as they are right now I wouldn't say anything, I would just get inside of cars and plough Before the atmosphere went all black How did this happen where we would just walk by and allow? There is a lack of notice in my area Good or bad thing, which one do you think is superior? Even before this, we had hysteria Make sure to look inside, don't just look at the exterior Hopefully further days will seem better Can't go ride, days are sunny, I just wish they were wetter Remember the worst thing years ago, getting bad school letters We haven't yet set our eyes on a good pacesetter On the news, nothing but protests, I am tired Although the protests and riots made me feel inspired Some people do not act human, I think they're wired I know one thing though, the history of riots I've admired Rioters just don't care, they'll hop that fence In fact, they might burn that fence should it commence The power of these people is too immense Waiting for another death on the news, I got suspense But tensions are high, and they always have been Like westerners telling easterners that their music's in the bin That's just not true, but that is not the thing The thing is, US tensions have always been built-in Now it's the constant divide that is here Too many people thinking that the divide is not clear It may not be clear to your friend or you But just because you don't see it, doesn't mean it's not true Different lenses on different people Who would've thought that all the people are just never equal? Why is all that needed, it's not needed at all And they're all crawling around like Jake at the mall Those tank attacks, let's take it to that China, '89, then it all went black You cannot try and move me away to distract That mad murder was done in the act Life just turned, it went black from good pink How many people have died, place your bet, what do you think? 'Cause I see the police have some weak links As some who knows the law, I don't know if you know but I cannot forgive What is happening in the world right now? Peaceful protests are all good but it's rioters that make me frown There are different ways that people go down And this way certainly does the job while it's 'round town The matter of the order you can't dispute Now I know what happened now, do you guys think it's too soon? Famous person, go ahead and just loot Their truths are bumpy, not well-rounded just like the moon Life will look very different in the future This main death wasn't sparked by a guy who was well-known as a shooter And these events are not okay, computer I never wanted to teach but right now I feel like a tutor I never would've expected this in my life How did I know this would happen, how did I see the plight?
