Hi, what kind of weather we gonna get It's our regular afternoon weather, right? Is it bad over there? It's kinda nice sittin' out here now Life is good, life is good, life is always good Cause I know we did the best we could This picture is of my favorite memory It a was bright and warm, a sunny day A moment captured so perfectly Just before everything in my life changed I was on your lap just a carefree kid Sailing the ocean with you on the Norwegian Wind Wearing my new Pokemon t-shirt That I got in Cozumel Mexico We all knew this could happen I wish I could just go back there To the days leading up to you're stroke Then maybe you would still be here Losing you changed my life forever It's hard living without here It's even harder to go on Living Going on without you another year I miss you so much Still can't believe that you are gone Again I said "I miss you so much" Still can't believe that you are gone That you are gone And that you are gone, gone, gone And that you are gone And that you are gone, gone, gone And that you are gone Remembering the last time I saw you in good health My mind always flashes back to the moment When we were on the golf cart just driving around When you told me "I'm not going to be around forever And you need to start working towards getting your life together" So you can be more independent and rely more on yourself How it was up to me and no one else Went and saw Mark Kozelek one night in Orlando Just a few nights before you passed away And on the way to the venue, I glanced out the window The afternoon sun was shining down upon the palms As I thought about you and the times we've shared it came to me how Florida's just not the same as it was twenty years ago Like everywhere with everything and everyone else And I wonder how much more things will be different In another twenty years from now We all knew this could happen I wish I could just go back there To the days leading up to you're stroke Then maybe you would still be here Losing you changed my life forever It's hard living without here It's even harder to go on Living Going on without you another year I miss you so much Still can't believe that you are gone Again I said "I miss you so much" Still can't believe that you are gone That you are gone And that you are gone, gone, gone And that you are gone And that you are gone, gone, gone And that you are gone So much to choose I spent a lot of time with you on that cruise Sometimes just walking along the decks with you How I could always talk to you like you were my best friend But who would've thought it would the be the last time ever That we'd all be together at the same time, at the same place in one room And If I was ever granted just one wish I would relive the entire trip Even though I got so seasick I thought I was turning blue Till my Aunt Mary gave me some medicine I could chew We all knew this could happen I wish I could just go back there To the days leading up to you're stroke Then maybe you would still be here Losing you changed my life forever It's hard living without here It's even harder to go on Living Going on without you another year I miss you so much Still can't believe that you are gone Again I said "I miss you so much" Still can't believe that you are gone That you are gone (Still can't believe that you are gone) And that you are gone, gone, gone And that you are gone (Still can't believe that you are gone) And that you are gone, gone, gone And that you are gone Now I'm here thinking back on all that we've done Wondering where all the years have gone And if there was anything left undone And what will happen in the years to come Will I finally make sense of it all?
