1000 Sleepless Nights

For one thousand sleepless nights I seem to never win the fight I lay here remaining conscious Relaxation never ever, ever stops this Something wrong I can't, put my finger on it Too unbalanced perhaps, I can't just submit One thousand sleepless nights The waking hours bring forward light Unfortunately I'm still exhausted How much longer until I lose it? The human brain, is truly fascinating So much work, so much regulating It can do it all on it's own For me it seems to be all alone It never stops, it never rests It's always operating, it's just nonsense Why is that I? Why am I deprived?
