drowning

I'm feeling so scared I can't breathe but I know that I must So many thoughts in my head Really trying so hard to trust These fears are irrational, but I can not make 'em stop on command I just wish they would leave, my God I just need me some peace in my soul I can't catch my breath My heart is running a race Against my emotions struggling to keep pace I struggle to breathe But each sound makes it worse And my world seems so dark I'm trying hard to reverse Away from the triggers Away from the pain All my muscles are tense Why can't it be explained? There is no good reason I'm pleading, releasing, my demons, defeated, I'm healing 'Till a twist comes and kills me, yeah I feel like I'm drowning Man I cannot breathe My anxiety's frightening So I take this lean One day it might take my life But save me from this shit I'm not working on dying I just need to sleep God I need you, I can't live on my own You're the only one who knows where my fears are sewn Why do they come? What's the cause of this pain? I want to let go, but I can't I'm going insane I try to calm down but my fears will not quit Can't find the air just to breathe in this shit I feel like I'm stuck in a pit I sip on this lean I smoke on this weed I take all these pills I feel lot at ease But this shit only lasts for a minute I can't seem to explain This mysterious pain It comes on so fast Man how long will it last? Uncontrollably crying, I feel like I am dying Why me? Why this?
