Born and raised in London, Bionic is a record producer, singer, songwriter, multi- instrumentalist. Attending choir sessions at a tender age driven by his mums passion towards it bolstered his love for music. This coaxed him into experimenting with beats and electronic production from the age 14 following his discovery of the possibilities using Reason, logic via online recommendations. Some of his Inspirations include Pharrell Williams, Quincy Jones, Labrinth, Nirvana, Travis Scott By 2012, Bionic was juggling between lectures and the studio having enrolled at university of Kent, studying a Bachelors in music technology. - “The stuff I learned their wasn’t really directly music, In fact I learned more from friends. University taught me time management, discipline, using my time efficiently and many more skills. The schedule was so regimented. I strive to upkeep the same mentality till now.” Graduating in 2015, He earned a full scholarship further graduating with a Masters in Popular Music (Production) in 2016. Bionic’s first full-length project, a single titled ‘Change’ was self-released in June 2018, to generally positive reviews. Mixed by Erik Madrid, the genius behind Khalid ‘Location’, ‘Young, Dumb and broke’, ‘Saved’. The captivating record features esoteric melodic vocals by Matt Martino. The theme of the song is centred around the evolution of a relationship based on authentic personal experiences. Although it draws upon characteristics from Hip-Hop & pop music, it benefits from Bionic’s fresh approach to modern day music. He surmises this as ‘A good accident, waiting to happen’. Effectively, the fresh chilled vibe of the song provides some truly memorable, yet eargasmic moments.
