Char Campbell is a native of Pensacola, Florida. She was exposed to music at an early age because her uncle played it so much, everything from Prince, Luther Vandross, the Debarges, the Jacksons to Frankie Beverly & Maze. Some of Char's favorite genres are R&B, classical, Soul, 80s, 70s, NeoSoul and Contemporary jazz. Her first single, Since You're Gone, was released July 2021. The song has an oldies but goodies Motown vibe, accented by Char's rich mezzo-soprano vocals.
