Neville Fitzgerald Blackman was better known by the Barbadian community as De Mighty Carew. At age 61, one may wonder how he was able to pull off such an energetic performance. His final hit song before his death in 1995 was 'Snakes', written by his friend, prolific songwriter Ian Greaves. 'Snakes' was the biggest and most popular song on the radio and for the Barbados Crop Over carnival in 1995 resulting in winning the 'road march' competition.
