HUMAN EATING MONSTER is a hell of a bandname. HUMAN EATING MONSTER is a 2-person project evolved from the band „spit“. In 2016 Sven (bass guitar) and I (Andreas, drums) created the HUMAN EATING MONSTER to live out our vision of (alternative) rock and metal. It is our aim to be open-minded concerning the music; it´s not important what is expected from the outside world. Everything is possible if it fits! And though it´s not that much important what the outside world expects from our music, it is important for us being open minded to the outside world. We like to work with other musicians, it´s so to say the salt and pepper to our music. The songs are mostly composed by Sven, the fine tuning and lyrics are done by me. In normal life we both are married men with ordinary jobs and ordinary lives. Because we are only two musicians we are not planning to perform live. It could happen some day, we just don´t know. We´ll see how things are going. To spread our music we founded our own label SMAP! music. So we are able to use all the tools, that are available for musicians nowadays. The label ist owned by Sven, questions in english language will be answered by me. In 2020 we released the EP „pied piper“ which reached more people than we dared to hope. Now in 2021 we release our full length debut album „asymmetry“, which at least fulfilled my wish creating an album with a running time more than 60 minutes. And to use a stereotype musician´s quote: this ist he album that we always wanted to make! Because that´s what we want to create with: something we are totally satisfied with. No compromises!
