James Cavern

James Cavern is an American Singer/Songwriter with English roots. He is a well versed in the studio, has been on multiple tours, played festivals, headlined shows and even managed an appearance on Season 6 of NBC's The Voice. James started learning music when he grew up in England through the school system but didn't really pursue music until much much later in life. He taught himself guitar at the age of 19 which eventually led him to singing. James didn't sing to anyone but himself and it took a while to eventually get of "stage fright" James didn't begin to actively pursue music until around 2010 in which we dove straight in and began playing gigs to help support himself. This led to James playing many shows and eventually began working on his own original music. James grew up listening to the classics such as The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Kinks! as well as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and James Brown. In his early teens years his sister introduced him to Oasis, Blur, The Verve which definitely shaped his singer/songwriting style at the beginning. He then gravitated towards the then extremely popular UK Garage scene which ultimately led him to his true love. RnB Soul music. James has released an EP titled Lost & Found which is available to stream through Apple Music and Spotify. James has been lucky to have had a very eventful career so far in music. From playing major festivals to appearing on "The Voice"...all in the space of 4 years. It's still early days.
