Lucas Harmon has been writing songs since he was 13, and in 2019 at the age of 17, he was finally able to start professionally recording his music. The most important thing to Lucas is the raw and genuine emotion conveyed through his songs, striving to relate to his listeners on a personal level. Lucas holds himself to the idea that every lyric written must have a deeper meaning to him and never decides to write in a lyric simply because it sounds good. Lucas is also a self-taught pianist and has been singing for most of his life. The older sound of his music is inspired most by artists such as Elton John, Billy Joel, The Beatles, and countless others. Growing up in the small town of Madison, Connecticut, Lucas Harmon would spend most of his days trying to fill the empty time with his creative endeavors. Whether that meant writing a song, filming sketches with friends, messing around on the piano, or orchestrating short films, he was always doing something creative. When Lucas was in middle school he was struck with the life-changing loss of someone very close to him, and as the years would follow, many other events in his life would affect Lucas on an intense emotional level. If anything, these events fuelled his passion and he tries to not let situations like these knock him down. He is a firm believer that taking the step back to understand what you’re feeling can lead to the best outcomes in life.
