Owembabazi Elizabeth alias Mercy Elizabeth is a Ugandan dancehall and RnB artist and lyricist and songwriter singing under Street deejays a music label and deejaying hub in western Uganda. She was born on April 27th, 2000 to Ahumbize Anatoli and Tumuhaise Esta of Kashangura in Ibanda district. She is the third born of 5 girls and 2 boys. She lives in Kamwenge. Education Mercy went to Kabujogyera progressive nursery and primary school, Kamwenge Modern School for nursery and primary. She joined Buryansungwe secondary school for O’level and completed Senior six at St Thomas Aquinas College in Kamwenge. Music life Mercy grew up with love after the love and inspiration from Bread and butter Riddim of the late Mowsey Radio and weasel. However, she discovered the talent after S6 vacation and started writing music. She recorded her first song “More Sweet” at Matcom Records in Ibanda after headlining at Club Afreka’s Talent Night in June 2019. She was motivated to do more music after the thriving recording of her first song.
