News was a Danish band that up through the 1980s had big hits with i.a. "I Love You" (1983) and "You Are ..." (1984). The group played for a few years and got ready to record their first album in 1981 . But in that connection, Lars Danielsson was replaced by Jette Schandorf and Jeppe Reipurth by Peter Biker , and the group changed its name to News. In 1983 , guitarist Aske Jacoby and lead singer Gitte Naur left the band. Naur was replaced by Søs Fenger , who appeared on several of their biggest hits, especially on the album from 1986, which simply bore the group's name. However, Fenger left the band in favor of a solo career, and was replaced by Nadia Stein. The band released their last album in 1994 and disbanded in 1995 .
