Nick Black is quickly becoming one of the most recognizable names in the pop/soul music scene. His highly entertaining live show experience features smooth vocals, soaring falsetto, and blazing guitar. Nick’s newest single “Grenadine” was released April 25th, 2019 to critical acclaim along with a “love cocktail” of a music video (EARMILK). Produced by Black and producer James Bennett, and featuring Memphis rapper/ singer Tori WhoDat, “Grenadine” pushes Nick headlong into the alt-R&B realm of The Weeknd and 6LACK. With hints of Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars having always been a staple of Nick’s music, they’ve truly come to the forefront of his sound in this new adventure. Nick released his last album SUMMER + SPRING in 2017 to critical acclaim, featuring two music videos: one for the title track and one for “Joy to the Girl”. SUMMER + SPRING fused classic Memphis R&B with the spirit of new soul and funk coming out of the Bluff City. Nick is now touring nationally throughout the Midsouth and east coast of the US backed up by his band of ten years. He is now booking for 2020.
