Meet Odi Unknown – a Los Angeles-based, 30-year-old gifted singer- songwriter who’s made a mark in the music world. Born in Hyattsville, MD, to Nigerian immigrant parents, Odi’s love for music was ingrained in him since childhood. Hailing from Boston, MA, he dedicated himself to perfecting his craft from a tender age and has since emerged as a formidable talent in the industry. He developed a diverse musical taste during childhood, regularly enjoying Nigerian Music and Dancehall tunes. Additionally, he appreciated the musical stylings of Kanye West, Jay-Z, DMX, Missy Elliot, 50 Cent, and other notable artists. Mario’s work mainly served as inspiration, and “Let Me Love You” was the first song he learned to sing. In 2012, he had the honor of opening for Mario at a Quincy, MA, concert, which he considers one of the most unforgettable performances of his career. Despite experiencing technical difficulties during his set, he remained positive and grateful for the opportunity to meet such a legendary figure. As Odi Unknown’s recording engineer, Ryan Hartnett has made significant headway mixing and mastering numerous tracks. Thanks to his exceptional talent and outstanding swiftness in delivering quality results, he is a vital asset to Odi and his team. However, in light of needing more instrumentals and beats, Odi also collaborates regularly with in-house producers to supplement his beat selections from YouTube. One of Odi’s most recent collaborations was with Pink Pluto, who produced the beat for his unreleased single “Maison Margiela.” Odi believes in collaborating with as many producers as possible, as this dynamic symbiosis enhances the artist’s overall success.
