Ogunyemi Temitayo olamide aka olamzy was born in Lagos,Nigeria. He hails from Ekiti Ifelodun LGA,he comes from the family of 3 making 2 boys 1 girl.among which he is the last born. Call to music This all started from when he was little,he always wanted to be a drummer besides apart music he could draw and paint. Growing up in church he was always at the front line so he could beat the drum during worship and other programs in church. When he got admitted to secondary school he stopped music for a while. When he was in jss3 his elder brother gifted him an headphone which he uses to listen to music whenever he is in the mood.He will play olamide Badoo songs all day without getting tired.so while in secondary school he joined the school band and wanted to learn how to play the saxophone but he later ended up striking the symbals since he was a junior student,so he followed the school band then to many many musical competitions,some times he will perform on stage with them,while other times he will sit to cheer them up.later he moved from striking the symbals to playing the tenor band drum.he furthered his education to tertiary level of education. As at ss2 he released his first freestyle titled suddenly and this freestyle made hit quite popular among his peers.he and his friend Miramix tried building a studio which failed due to one reason or the other. So after college he released his first studio single ft Jagz which was titled Ife (love).then as at 100level he released another track titled mafimisile...he has also done other song such as famous,Eruku,Orekelewa,Happy etc but out of all Famous is a song which can be seen as a force not to reckone with because the song talks about the reality of life. According to him his family,his producer jaysmart and his brother has been the inspiration and support behind his music career finally without leaving his icon behind OLAMIDE BADOO who has being the motivation behind his songs and God almighty the giver of wisdom to be creative. Olamzy is currently attending Ajayi crowther university,a faith based institution of learning.Also, he is a 300level law student. Olamzy is also a trap artiste who tries to blend his style with Afro beats with trap to create a new genre of music and tries to bring the two audiences together both the trap world and the Afro world.(Afro trap)
