PORTER have been around since 2001 and mix the different influences of the individual band members - from metal and punk, to indie and singer-songwriter, to hardcore and alternative - to create a completely unique blend that brings their sound, which is stylistically rooted in the energetic, guitar-led alternative rock of the 90s, into the present day thanks to progressive elements and a lush production. "Genosha", the long-awaited third album by alternative rock band PORTER from the Ruhr area, is on the home straight and marks a kind of new start for the band. On 10 November 2023, the first single "Taxfree Hollows" will finally be released on all popular streaming portals (Spotify) and gives a clear foretaste of what is to come. The band is releasing the video at the same time as the single. To "Taxfree Hollows" on the band's YouTube channel @porteralternativerock. In their 2023 incarnation, PORTER sound more like themselves than ever before. This is not least due to the fact that the entire production process is now in the hands of the band without exception, meaning that the arrangements and sounds are finally exclusively self-determined and therefore 100% PORTER.
