Rebecca Peace M (Rabecca Syokau Munyao) was born in February 1975 in Makueni County, where she grew up under very harsh conditions of life. Her parents were farmers who did not have much. She is married and is blessed with children. She lives with her family in Nairobi. She went to Yindalani Primary School, Mitaboni ABC Girls, National Youth Service and NYS Secretarial College, Kenya Technical Teachers’ College among other professional institutions. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree certificate in Business and Office Management from JKUAT. She has a wealth of experience in office administration in the Public Sector. Rebecca composed her first ever song in 1997 despite the fact that she doubted having talent in songwriting. It is in November 2019 that a friend introduced her to Hitscore Studios. She recorded and uploaded in You Tube her first album, Yesu ni Bwana in February, 2020. Rebecca started singing at an early age while in Sunday school like any other child who went to Church. Her interest in singing grew and she has been a member of different choirs such as church, school and at work. At no given time did she ever think that she would write and record her own song! This is more so because she does not have any professional training in music. Rebecca’s songs are an inspiration from within, and now that she does gospel music it is all about her encounter with God and the desire to let other people know and trust in God. Trusting in the help of the Almighty God, Rebecca is looking forward to being a professional music writer and singer.
