Rose, de son vrai nom Keren, est née le 24 mai 1978 à Nice. Son nom de scène est un hommage au film "The Rose " avec Bette Midler , une histoire inspirée de la vie de la célèbre chanteuse Janis Joplin . Première partie d' Alain Souchon Après des études de droit, elle a été professeur d'école pendant deux ans avant de se lancer dans la musique. En mars et juin 2006, Rose assure les premières parties d' Alain Souchon à l'Olympia et au Zénith, avant d'assurer celles d'artistes comme Axelle Red , Olivia Ruiz ou encore le groupe pop The Servant. C'est en septembre 2006 que sort son premier album éponyme. Les sonorités folk, blues et jazz habillent des textes doux-amers, qui évoquent souvent l'amour, parfois déçu. Autres influences majeures pour Rose Bruce Springsteen , Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, ou encore Serge Gainsbourg ...
