In 2002, Sam Pomerantz made a debut that would change his life forever. Staring in some shows and musicals, Sam started his fine arts career from a pre-kindergarden school play about Native-Americans and their homeland. After that musical, he decided that he wanted to be a musician. It all started after a viral video shot by his mom, scattered the internet of him dancing to the Barney & Friends song he had watched from a video tape of a Florida concert with lyrics such as, “Hi, I’m Lucy” with everyone else introducing themselves as well. Born in the 1990s in the midwest, Sam Pomerantz has made his musical career debut in 2009. He had lived in Columbus, Ohio for two weeks after his birth only then moving to West Palm Beach, Florida for 10 years of his life. While he was living in Palm Beach, he felt that he didn’t know anyone his whole time there. “I pretty much had one friend, but then of course he had left me for being ‘not popular’ to any of the other kids,” says the 14 year old sensation. After being left out with friends and faith from Pre-K to 1st grade, he went to study at a religious school for 2nd to 3rd grade. “It still didn’t help”. Then, came a big announcement that he and his family would be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina, the 2nd largest financial city in the United States. At first he thought that it would be a nightmare and that his whole life would take a detour to hell, and 3 years later, “This was the best move anyone could ever take.” After meeting some friends in his neighborhood, he got widely spread in Charlotte. Going to a new school was tough but he overcame it with making new friends. In middle school, he told about how he posted his songs to YouTube and iTunes, and became widely popular in the city. His acting career started at a local theater, doing 4 summer camps in 2010, 6 in 2011, and plays such as Deck The Halls, School House Rock LIVE!, and Babes in Toyland.
