Stealing The Sun blends high-octane riffs, groovy bass lines and progressive percussion with dynamic, piercing vocals to create a unique alternative sound. Founding members Sameer Khan and Ross Learn met on the UC Santa Cruz campus and discovered a common interest in music, leading to the creation of an acoustic duo with a hard rock sound. In 2015 they transitioned to an electric sound, eventually adding Tome Tavares on bass and Pete William on drums — and Stealing The Sun was born.
