What started as an excuse to find some fun and action during lockdown, turned into a reconnection across time and place… When we started, we were in eighth grade. Marc became Jonathan’s guitar teacher in high school and we only saw each other twice after graduation in 1990… until The Sometimes Maybes were formed. We both find home and rescue in expression and creation around music. Coming from different backgrounds and contrasting ideologies, we‘ve allowed our contrasting approaches to drive harmony rather than dissonance. Sometimes we‘re prolific and Maybe, once in a while, we’re good. Doesn’t much matter when we’re mostly just playing for each other, having a laugh and, generally, learning something.
