With eyes, too soft to see
The jagged edges
That are surrounding me
The mist, shrouds my point of view
Clinging to the leaves, on their morning dew

I’m wrestling with the knowledge, that I’ve just found

But now, you’re evading me
I feel the walls come up
And they’re surrounding me
The laneway, is now grey and bare
Reminiscent of the footsteps
That we once walked there
