About 'Tops' With Me

'Tops' with Me is the debut album by British singer Helen Shapiro. It was released in 1962 and was her most successful album, reaching number 2 in the UK Albums Chart. She was accompanied by Martin Slavin and his Orchestra. The album comprised cover versions of songs which had already been hit singles for other artists – "top pops" or simply "tops" in the slang of the day.

    Shop around was not on the 1962 'Tops With Me' album. It is track 7 on the Helen Hits Out Columbia 33SX1661 album released in 1964. You are confusing it with the double Album ' Tops with Me/Helen Hits Out EMI-1546343 issued in 1983...
