Bear Witness is the first studio album by Australian band I'm Talking. The album was released in August 1986 by Regular Records and peaked at No. 14 on the Australian Album Charts.The album yielded three singles and was certified platinum.At the 1986 Countdown Australian Music Awards the album was nominated for Best Debut Album.At the 1987 ARIA Music Awards Richard Alan, responsible for the album's cover, was nominated for 'Best Cover Artist'. The band received considerable international interest and as a result I'm Talking undertook a 36-date UK tour supporting Five Star. In October 2010, Bear Witness (1986) was listed in the book, 100 Best Australian Albums. A compilation album containing songs from the 100 albums was released in November 2010, which included the band's track, "Trust Me" The album was re-released, with additional tracks, in March 2018.
