You think so? I know I'm scared of that, I just want to make sure that I'm ready when that happens cause I feel like its gonna come like too. I don't know why I feel like that, but I feel like its going to happen like that too and I just want to make sure I'm ready


I've decided to talk about a subject that is really misunderstood by almost everyone
I'm going to talk to you about success and its polar opposite, failure   


Success, dead end, that never seems to end, till you’re too far in uh
Perfect lens, fit the outside lookin in 
Better then when they on your own fuckin head 
Define success, for me it meant a ton of things
Now I think about it, don’t want none of what it brings
The money's good, but the fame is for the ego
Try to remain the same everywhere that we go 
I see-saw on the idea that I like it, cause honestly my biggest fear is that I’ll fight it
Social media, life on display
Trying to portray life like everything is great
It's Inhumane, It's fabricated
Asking myself if this is how it feels to make it
I don’t want it then, I didnt ask for this
My body empty, hallowed out like a casket is
And I'll be honest uh I’m afraid 
Careful what you wish for, do you really want the fame? 
Cause there's no turning back make up your mind on the track
If imma do it imma do it, aint no time for holding back 
No mediocre, no belief in doubt
Never been a choker, never took the easy route
I’m just obsessed overthinking the success, all I got was just a taste of it nd I’m already stressed


I want you to really open your mind to this, I want you to listen really carefully. Now you don't just listen with your ears, you hear with your ears, you listen with your emotions. 


Used to be the money, the cars, the clothes, the hoes
Basic shit everybody wants when they’re grown
The fame, the lime light, the stature that they hold you too
The power in the words you use in every verse to prove
That you can do it, ain’t no if anymore
But you have to come to grips with what comes as a cost
The greed, the fiends, that change for the green
The ones that use to love you, now play for the other team 
The heights that you reach could be a long way down if you’re naive 
Or even just the people around you could mislead you
Tryna be deceitful for their own agenda just to get in your position like they’re equal
Plus you’re see thru, learning as you go
Media tryna get a piece of you for their show
Treat you like an animal, a pet at the zoo
But this is what you wanted right? you said that you knew


Most people think of success as something they may get to, and when they don't, they consider themselves failures. It devastates your entire mind.


Axniety, notoriety
Tryna find a balance with out tryna be
Tryna find the signs I need to stay in line with Pete
While finding myself still, been stilling my mind I see
A side of me that I need just to find my peace, Justify my leap
Of faith, Incase I ever separate from the place that kept me sane, I’m saying
Success is what you make of it, I’m slowly catching on
F*ck the accolades, all my attentions on my mom
On my brother on my family
On my team, bowing on my hands and knees 
Started being grateful for the little things I care bout
It’s getting clear now, clouds disappear now
My Life is great man life is a vacation
Asking myself, hold up, what was I afraid of?


I believe the best definition of success, that I have ever seen, Is one that came from Earl Nightingale many, many years ago. In fact, he joined it around 1951, he passed away in 1989 and he never changed a word of his definition of success. He said it was the progressive realization of a worthy idea. Think of that... Progressive realization. That isn't going ahead, stop, and go backwards. Its progressive, continually moving toward it. The progressive realization of a worthy idea
