People always judge others by how they look
But they don't know what they're going through
They always bring others down
And it makes them want to scream and shout
People are so disrespectful these days
And they don't care if people get hurt from what they say

Some people think they should change for others
But I'd rather be myself, than someone else

I wanna know why people do me like that
I always compliment them and have their back, but it's okay

People always make fun of others for being themselves
And they always think that they're like everyone else
But not everyone's the same
Everyone has their own unique way
Whenever people talk they always scream and shout
But that's cause they want the attention
And they want their name mentioned but in a good way
People change and that's okay but it's weird how they go through a phase
They start talking behind people's backs even the ones they were close with

And those people change for others
But I'd rather be myself, than someone else

People go straight to the person they know
And there's someone standing there, nowhere to go
But as long as you are yourself
Then people will love you for that
