Still upset over the friends I never made

I can't say I'm mad, what can one do with regret

Maybe later on the ones from my past

A foolish past now defeated

I woke up early two days in a row
After a week of sleeping in til five
Working strange hours
Thank God, He's providing
Put the phone down long enough
To not want to use it again
Pick it up long enough
To struggle putting it down
It's not that I can't fall asleep
I'd just rather not for whatever reasons

Where all my friends leaped over a gap
Hesitantly I ended up being last
Nearly devoured but You kept me
Then I ended up at a Christmas shop

Then there was one about a Christmas factory
Different seasons in my life
Don't know how to write about it
Contrary to factory nightmares
There's one that's started to make more sense
When I think about Your past deliverance
