All fine when I saw Gran and Grandad
Way back when I was just a lad.
Always had mountains of meat and potato pie
Smothered with gravy with the broad beans piled high
Always followed by rice pudding
With a very generous dollop of neapolitan ice cream in the middle
And I spared a thought for Southport

Sand as far as the eye could see
Used to walk for miles barefoot on the sand
