Lost at sea in my thoughts
I've been trapped in my thoughts
I need peace in my thoughts
Need gravity in my thoughts

These anxious thoughts
They seems so true and inescapable that it's the only thought you think about
It's like your always looking down
Looking at the trash on the ground
And if you looked around you might have found
It's a beautiful day with a gorgeous sunset
But your to blind to see it cause you feel drowned
And the only reality you can fix your eyes on are your problems
And anxious stressing won't solve them
But you know you can't just dissolve them
So lift up your eyes to the light
Know that gratitude gives new sight
And remember that God died

Thinking back on all my emotions
My gut feels deep as the ocean
Some good some bad
Some times I wish that I never had
But some moments I remember
Turn all the sadness to embers
I never thought I'd be rapping
And I wouldn't be if it weren't for sadness
Every sad thing there's a blessing
I've been always stuck or stressing
So I just let the good pass me by
I ignore it and watch time fly
Here's for all the good moments
I felt love as deep as an ocean
When you helped me with coping
And just trying to be free
What does freedom even mean?
The time when I felt clean?
When I was completely myself
But not even focused on me
When you felt God's peace
When I saw the light in your eyes
That you knew that God died for you
