And it feels like life just began
Reborn into another world
They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger
So no choice than to love what doesn't kill but makes you stronger
As a child I thought adulthood was nicer but it just uglier
I'm just a teen and it feels like I've seen enough
Looking back on these years time flew so fast
I think I've had enough
But nothing seems funnier than realising this is just the beginning

Most youth of today are just coping

Sometimes I stand in front of the mirror and I wonder who's this
Transition happened like it took just a second
Reciting rhymes at nursery
Now fighting my way up just to be legendary
A lot affecting us mentally
We grew so fast
Lost Friends, we grew so apart
Got Friends, never lost their heart
An insecured world with insecured people
Hard to love with no strings attached
An ironic world, people find comfort in being cold and vulnerability in showing love
Our days are numbered
How many? That is undefined
But one thing for Sure, death is inevitable
Hidden scars, hidden under the sleeves of our skins ,they're invisible
Many came around but the question is, how many stayed around
The picture is painted to look perfect
Nothing comes easy, it demands a lot of effort
I've got God's breathe in me , I need to live a life that is worth it
Things may be tough but I can't fail that's a daily affirmation
No competition it's me vs me
That's the toughest competition
The world is cold no wonder a lot of people are lukewarm
Man is tied to man trying so hard not to do wrongs
Strengthening more bonds more like an alloy probably just like a bronze
So many wrongs in the past they gimme nightmares
But leaving the past to be Letting by gons be by gons
Peace with my inner man and fellow man
Too young to carry a lot in my heart
And that's a fact
Sometimes I wish I never took this path
Coz it comes with a lot of burden
Daily I'm patching, I'm mending, and I'm learning
I still want to wake up one day and ask is this heaven
A lot of happiness I've had enough
A table of variety serve me joy
But once Christ is in me there's the hope of glory
And after our run is over one thing is for sure
We'll surely be one of the greatest
