I'm getting older now
I'm growing stronger now
And I'm not too sure how to feel about that
I'm only skin and bones
But yet I've grown
Into a pure, good willed, man

I'm still growing
But what am I supposed to do
When I've grown
I will always be growing
Just like the rest of you
But that has always been known
But yet, something still feels wrong
No one tells you how to live as an adult
Just one day and my whole childhood is gone
I can't be irresponsible anymore
I have to accept responsibility for my actions
No more having fun, no more being young, no more satisfaction
Growing up just means growing old and miserable

I'm officially going to be grown
This is supposed to be a celebration,
So why do I feel so alone
I've spent my whole life trying to finish this race but

There's something great coming
But I'm not sure how to feel about it
People are shouting
Happy birthday
But what's there to celebrate
When time is fake
It's just a random day that's been made into something for money
But if that does mean what they think it does
Then that means that when it comes to me, I'm a grown up
